A man in his 50s was evacuated Friday to Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer after falling from a ladder while building his sukkah on Rav Tzirelson Street in Bnei Brak. United Hatzalah volunteers together with Magen David Adom medics treated him at the scene, and he was evacuated in stable condition.
Aharon Lerer, an ambulance driver-medic with United Hatzalah, along with medics Yaakov Yisrael Malka and Leizer Margalit, reported: "His family members told us that he fell from a ladder he had climbed while building the sukkah. We provided medical treatment at the scene, including stopping bleeding, bandaging and immobilization, and he was then evacuated quickly by United Hatzalah ambulance to the trauma room at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer. He is suffering from trauma and injuries to his head and limbs, and his condition is defined as moderate."
Yedidya Friedman, a United Hatzalah medic who arrived at the scene, said: "When I arrived, I found a man in his 50s suffering from a head injury after falling from a ladder while building a sukkah. Together with United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom medics, we provided initial medical treatment including immobilization and bandaging, and he was evacuated for further treatment at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer."
