JFeed Internet Company.  (“JFeed”) respects the privacy of Users of its Website www.jfeed.com (the “Website”) and is committed to protecting the data it keeps about Users, subject to this Privacy Policy and the applicable law. 

Please read this notice carefully to understand how data is gathered, how the data is used, how the data is transferred, and how the User, as subject of the data, can remove or modify it.

Please note this Privacy Policy is that your use of our Website is also subject to the Terms of Use. Accessing the Website from any media and using the Website, the services and the contents included therein is indicative of your consent to this Privacy Policy and to the Terms of Use (collectively or separately “Binding Documents”). 

JFeed may require the Users to provide certain personal information in order to use the Website or specific services of the Website. The Users acknowledge that although they are not legally obligated to provide such personal information to JFeed, they willingly agree to provide JFeed such personal information. Should you not provide such personal information to JFeed, we may, at our full discretion, restrict the use of the Website (or parts thereof), and/or deny access to certain services.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND WHY WE COLLECT IT

Certain services on the Website require signing into a User account. When signing up to a User account, the User will be required to provide personal information, such as full name, date of birth, address, telephone number, and e-mail address. If available, and the User chooses to register to the Website through a social media user account, JFeed may receive data from the social media provider.

By using the Website, certain non-personal information (namely, information that cannot exclusively identify the User), such as data on how the User uses the Website, the end-user equipment through which the Website is accessed, digital identifiers (such as IP address, MAC address, IMEI number, and so on). We may collect data on the behavior of the Users, information and/or advertisements they viewed on the Website, the pages they saw, the website-activity, interest in specific offers and services, user location during the use, etc. 

Whenever the Users contact the Website through a designated online form, e-mail message, chat, messages through social media or by contacting by phone or snail mail, the information Users provide may be collected. 

By using the Website and social media pages associated with the Website, as they may exist, data may be collected, including with regard to the User’s online activity, searches for travel deals, the schedule of the Users, information or advertisements they viewed, pages viewed, subjects of interest, the details of the phone or computer or other software through which the Users access the Website. 

The data shall be saved in the Website’s server located in Israel. 

Database

Some of the data Users provide during the registration procedure may be collected into a secured database of the Website. 

Use of Collected Data

When using the Website, information on the Users’ behavior, watched information or advertisements, pages viewed, actions taken, offers and services of interest, geographical location, and so on. JFeed may save the said information or parts thereof, in their database. 

The use of such information, as well as personal data the User may provide during registration to the Website, shall be subject to this Privacy Policy and to the applicable law, for the following purposes:

  1. to maintain and operate this Website and to provide Users access to the services of this Website; to provide the Users the services they requested to get from the Website and to stay in touch with Users; to improve and to offer additional features and content of the Website, to change and/or cancel certain existing services; to send Users commercial offers, including from JFeed’ business partners, subject to our terms of use and to the Users’ right to request, at any instance, to opt-out these communications; to provide you with customized advertisements; and any other legitimate business purpose as required or permitted by law and is specified in this Privacy Policy and/or our terms of use. 

Data Disclosed to Third Parties

JFeed will not share User’s personal information with third parties, without receiving the User’s prior consent to do so, and subject to the provisions of this Privacy Policy, which may be updated from time to time.

Nevertheless, JFeed may share with third parties information on Users, in the following cases:

  • Statistical information on the use of the Website, or any non-identifying information;  To service providers of the Website, including server hosting services, in order to provide Users access to the services of this Website; To third parties and service providers, in order to send Users advertisements and offers that may interest the User (subject to prior receipt of User’s consent to do so, and in accordance with the applicable law); When acquiring third party services and products; To enforce applicable Terms of Use, including investigation of potential violations, including violation of the law. To meet any applicable law, regulation, subpoena, legal process or enforceable governmental request; In any legal dispute (including, but not limited to, demands, claims, lawsuit, or any legal procedure) between the User and JFeed and their affiliates; To protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of JFeed, our users, customers or the public as required or permitted by law. To detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues. JFeed may share non-identifying information with third party business affiliates, in order to customize advertisements, offers and content on websites, based on fields of interest, location and other types of features. The User consents that such affiliates may collect such non-identifying information independently, for the said purpose; If the ownership of all or substantially all of JFeed’ business changes or otherwise assets relating to JFeed’ business or the Website are transferred to a third party, such as by merger, acquisition, bankruptcy proceeding or otherwise, we may transfer User’s personal information to the new owner. In such a case, unless permitted otherwise by applicable law, User’s information would remain subject to the promises made in the applicable Privacy Policy. 

JFeed will retain User’s personal information until the personal information is deemed by us as no longer necessary to accomplish the purpose for which it was provided, or, until we receive an explicit written request to delete such information, all subject to the applicable law. Nevertheless, non-identifying information may be retained and JFeed may use such information for statistical and analytical purposes for an unlimited period of time.

The statistical information that JFeed retains includes, for instance, information on the extent of use of the Website, frequency of use, through where the Website is accessed, and so on. This is not personal information, and it does not identify the User, and it is collected for research, monitoring and analyzing purposes and for improvement of the services of the Website. 

COOKIES AND GOOGLE ANALYTICS

This Website uses standard technologies such as Cookies for the Website’s continuous and proper operation, which are locally saved on the User’s device through which the User accessed the Website. This is done in order to simplify, improve and optimize the User’s interaction with the Website. As an integral part of the use of Cookies, statistical and technical data about the use of the Website may be collected, for verifying data, for customizing the Website services for the User’s preferences and for data security purposes.

As specified in this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use, JFeed may share certain information with third parties for marketing purposes, in order to provide Users customized advertisements and offerings. 

In addition, certain advertisements on the Website may include third party Cookies. The use such third parties make in such third party Cookies (and other similar technologies) is subject to their privacy policies, instead of this Privacy Policy. Such third parties have no access to the Website’s Cookies, and the Website has no access to the third party Cookies. 

This Website may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, U.S.A; hereinafter: “Google”) to collect certain information relating to Users’ use of the Website. Google Analytics uses Cookies, to help the Website analyze how Users use the Website. The information generated by the Cookies about the User’s use of the Website (including the User’s IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. 

Google may use this information for the purpose of evaluating the User’s use of the Website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate the User’s IP address with any other data held by Google.  By using this Website, the User consents to the processing of data about them by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. Newsletters and Direct Marketing

The Website offers the service of electronic newsletters (including via e-mails, the Web and cellular networks), namely, direct marketing to Users of the Website. 

The Users declare and consent they are aware of the provisions of the 40th amendment of Section 30A of the Israel Communications Law (Telecommunication and Broadcasting), 5742-1982, and agree that JFeed may contact them, through any media permitted by the law, including (but not limited to), facsimile, calls, text messages (SMS), or any relevant technology that may be available in the future. In order to customize the relevant content to the specific User, we may make use of the information we collected on the User.

The User may request, at any given time to stop the direct marketing service, by the ways specified in the law, including by clicking the designated “remove me” link in a direct email marketing message, and by contacting us at the following address: desk@jfeed.com. Once the User is removed from the Website’s mailing list, the User may request to rejoin the mailing list, by contacting us at the same e-mail address or the same form. 

DELETING INFORMATION

Personal Information of a User may be deleted from the Website by contacting us at desk@jfeed.com.

EUROPEAN UNION USERS

This section of this Privacy Policy provides certain required information to persons located in the European Union (“EU”), a European Economic Area (“EAA”) member state, or Switzerland. Before JFeed collects any personal information, you are entitled under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), to the information in this section of our Privacy Policy.

JFeed will only process your personal information when JFeed has a lawful basis for doing so. JFeed will collect and process your personal information as necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or because JFeed has another legitimate interest in doing so relating to their business purposes arising from your relationship with JFeed. JFeed may also seek your prior consent or rely on some other lawful basis to process your personal information.

If you use the Website and are located in the EU, EAA, or Switzerland, you are entitled by law to access, correct, amend, or delete personal information about you that held by JFeed. Please find herein below a list of these rights. Please note that these rights are not absolute and certain exemptions may apply to specific requests that you may submit to us.

When making a request, please provide an accurate description of the personal information to which you want access. We may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative cost. The right to rectification. You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete. You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances, including your personal information must be erased to comply with a legal obligation under EU or member state law. The right to restrict processing. You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances, including:  when the accuracy of the personal information is brought into question, or  when we no longer need the personal information for the purposes of the processing but you require such personal information for the establishment, exercise, or defense of a legal claim. The right to data portability. You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us from one organization to another, or give it to you. The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. If you believe your rights under the GDPR have been violated, the GDPR gives you the right to file a complaint with your supervisory authority.

  • The right to withdraw consent. If JFeed obtains your written consent to collect and process your personal information, you can subsequently withdraw such consent as to any further processing of information by contacting us at desk@jfeed.com. Automated decision-making. To the extent that JFeed engages in decision-making based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or which significantly affects you, you have the right not to be subject to such decision-making.

To exercise these rights please contact us at desk@jfeed.com. For your protection, we may need to verify your identity before responding to your request. In the event that we refuse a request, we will provide you a reason as to why.

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information that is based on legitimate interests. If you make such an objection, we will cease to process the personal information unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests or which override your rights and freedoms, or we can demonstrate the processing is for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. Personal information that you provide while in the EU, an EAA member state, or Switzerland may be transferred to the United States. The GDPR permits such transfer when necessary for the performance of a contract between you and JFeed, if JFeed obtains your explicit consent to such transfer, or if it is JFeed’ legitimate interest to transfer the personal information.  The laws in the United States may not be as protective of your privacy as those in your location. If we transfer personal information from the EU, we will provide an appropriate safeguard such as binding corporate rules, standard data protection clauses, Privacy Shield, or your consent.

We will retain your personal information until the personal information is no longer necessary to accomplish the purpose for which it was provided. We may retain your personal information for longer periods for specific purposes to the extent that we are obliged to do so in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, to protect you, other people, and us from fraud, abuse, an unauthorized access, as necessary to protect our legal rights, or for certain business requirements.

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents who provide personal information in obtaining products or services for personal, family or household use are entitled to request and obtain from JFeed once a calendar year information about the customer information JFeed shared, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of customer information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which JFeed shared customer information for the immediately prior calendar year (namely, requests made in 2022 will receive information regarding 2021 sharing activities).

We will provide the requested information to you at your e-mail address in response. Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the “Shine the Light” requirements and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response.

CONSENT TO DATA PROCESSING IN UNITED STATES

JFeed’ Website, are operated and managed in Israel on servers located and operated within the United States. By using and accessing our Website, residents and citizens of countries and jurisdictions outside of the United States agree and consent to the transfer to and processing of personal information on servers located in the United States, and that the protection of such information may be different than required under the laws of your residence or location.

SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

JFeed uses industry standard physical, technical and administrative security measures and safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of the Users’ personal information. However, since the Internet is not a completely secure environment, JFeed cannot guarantee, ensure, or warrant the security of any information Users transmit to the Website. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information. Please note that e-mails and other communications Users send to JFeed through the Website are not encrypted, and it is strongly advised Users not to communicate any confidential information through these means.

The Website will not request Users to disclose the details of any payment methods, but rather connects Users to third parties in order to proceed with the acquiring travelling packages. Therefore, please note that the Website will not request its Users to disclose the details of their credit cards, e-wallet or bank account. 

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your consent in accordance with applicable law. We will post any privacy policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification of privacy policy changes). We may also keep prior versions of this Privacy Policy in an archive for your review.
