38,000 Gazans Evacuated Since War Began
Since the outbreak of war, approximately 38,000 Palestinians have left the Gaza Strip, the majority of them sick or injured individuals accompanied by caregivers. The steady flow of medical evacuations continued yesterday, as 180 patients and their close companions were transported out of Gaza for treatment in European countries and Jordan. A senior Israeli security official emphasized that Israel is not spearheading these operations but rather enabling them on a consistent basis. “Israel is not leading the evacuation of patients, but it does allow it regularly and systematically,” the official stated. “It’s up to the international community to take initiative—if there is indeed concern for the humanitarian situation.”
