Bahrain Requests to Join Airdrops of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

In a first, Bahrain has officially requested to participate in humanitarian aid airdrops over the Gaza Strip, a senior Arab source told N12. Israeli authorities confirmed they are currently reviewing the request, and Bahrain is expected to join the airdrop operations as early as next week. Unlike several other nations, Bahrain has not previously taken part in the Gaza airdrop efforts since the war began. Meanwhile, several countries that did carry out airdrops during the conflict—Germany, Spain, Belgium, and France—have submitted requests to resume operations, pending official approval. Currently, only the UAE, Jordan, and Egypt are actively conducting humanitarian airdrops over Gaza, though the list of participating countries is expected to grow in the coming days.
