Emergency responders who arrived at the scene provided initial medical treatment before evacuating the victim to Wolfson Medical Center. Police officers who reached the location detained the suspect and seized a knife believed to have been used in the stabbing.

Paramedics treated and transported a 45-year-old woman in moderate condition with a penetrating injury to Ichilov Hospital, according to their statement.
