Canada Slams Israel Over Gaza War

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney: "Canada condemns the Israeli government's failure to prevent the rapidly deteriorating humanitarian disaster in Gaza. Canada calls on all parties to negotiate an immediate and sincere ceasefire. We reiterate our calls for Hamas to immediately release all hostages, and for the Israeli government to respect the territorial integrity of the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Canada supports a two-state solution that guarantees peace and security for both Israelis and Palestinians. Canada will work vigorously in every forum to advance this goal, including the participation of the Canadian Foreign Minister at next week's UN conference on the two-state solution in New York."
