Chinese data aided Iran's targeting of U.S. ships and bases in Middle East, intelligence finds

U.S. intelligence assessments indicate that imagery and geospatial data from Chinese groups have enhanced Iran's ability to target American ships and bases in the Middle East. The data contributed to the precision of a July strike on a U.S. base in Jordan that killed three service members. It has also assisted Iran in tracking shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
