Defense Minister Katz: IDF creating defensive buffer in Lebanon following Gaza model

Defense Minister Israel Katz stated Israel continues striking Iran with full force and that the IDF is maneuvering into Lebanese territory to seize a forward defensive line. Katz said Hezbollah made a grave mistake attacking Israel and is paying a heavy price. The IDF is eliminating Hezbollah terrorists and destroying terror infrastructure, including houses in Lebanese border villages serving as terror outposts, following the Rafah and Beit Hanoun model in Gaza, to create a defensive buffer and distance the threat from Israeli communities.
