Defense Minister Orders Clear Warning to Hamas

Defense Minister Israel Katz has ordered the IDF to deliver a clear message to Hamas leadership in Gaza — any Hamas operative located east of the “yellow line,” in territory controlled by Israel, must withdraw immediately. The instruction was to be conveyed via the U.S. monitoring mechanism. Katz warned that commanders in Hamas will be held accountable for any incidents, and said that anyone who remains in the area will be treated as a target and struck without additional warning, enabling Israeli forces to operate freely and immediately against threats. “The protection of IDF soldiers is our top priority,” Katz said, adding that Israel will take all necessary measures to ensure their safety.
