Disciplinary Investigation Against Attorney Roee Kahlon Resumes After Delay

The disciplinary investigation into attorney Roee Kahlon has resumed following a rebuke from the Commissioner for Complaints against State Representatives, who advised Kahlon to petition the High Court over delays. Kahlon was appointed Acting Civil Service Commissioner over two years ago, but the Attorney General refused to defend the appointment and opened disciplinary proceedings on suspicion of résumé embellishment. The investigation was frozen for over a year despite requests to proceed. The Attorney General recently appointed Haifa District Attorney Hila Katz as supervising prosecutor, and former Acting State Attorney Dan Eldad testified this week.
