Eisenkot sets target of 63-64 Zionist Knesset seats with majority backing PM

Eisenkot has set a goal of securing 63-64 Zionist Knesset members, with at least a Zionist majority among those recommending the prime minister. If the coalition falls short of 61 seats, Eisenkot's plan includes three key elements: First, requiring a universal military draft or national service law for all citizens as a baseline condition, with no room for negotiation. Second, refusing negotiations with Arab or ultra-Orthodox parties over abstention or support unless those conditions are met, forcing them to choose between replacing Netanyahu or being remembered for keeping him in power. Third, focusing on governing rather than immediately dissolving the Knesset, hoping Likud MKs will recognize the Netanyahu era has ended.
