Gazans Seen Storming Aid Trucks at Zikim Crossing

Palestinian media outlets circulated footage Tuesday showing crowds of Gazans swarming flour aid trucks that entered through the Zikim crossing, in what appeared to be chaotic scenes of looting and desperation. According to Abu Ali Express, a channel monitoring Arab media, the trucks were part of the traditional aid delivery route favored by the UN, the UK government, and 25 other Western nations. It is also reportedly the preferred method of Hamas. British Foreign Secretary David Lammy has previously advocated for this aid route, despite growing criticism that it lacks proper oversight and contributes to disorder on the ground.
