Golani Brigade eliminates eight terrorists in southern Lebanon operation

Israeli Golani Brigade troops eliminated eight terrorists in close-quarters combat in southern Lebanon, with aerial support from the brigade's fire control center. Among those killed was a member of Hezbollah's Radwan Force sniper unit. Troops dismantled an underground shaft from which the terrorists had emerged and seized dozens of weapons, including anti-tank rockets, Kalashnikov rifles, machine guns, and grenades. The operation took place just kilometers from the Israeli border in an area that Lebanese officials have claimed is free of weapons and tunnels.
