Hadera Police Chief Indicted for Assault at PM Protest

The Department of Internal Police Investigations (Machash) and the State Attorney’s Office are filing an indictment against Deputy Superintendent Amit Polk, commander of the Hadera police station, for assaulting a civilian during a demonstration held outside the Prime Minister’s residence in Caesarea. Additionally, Polk is charged with obstruction of justice. In addition: Amit Polk’s wife is also charged with obstruction of justice after she threw his phone into the sea in an attempt to prevent the prosecution from accessing it.
