Hamas Rafah Brigade Commander Nael Abu Obaid eliminated

Hamas has announced the death of Nael Abu Obaid, commander of its Rafah Brigade, inviting Gaza residents to attend his funeral at Nasser Hospital mosque in Khan Yunis after noon prayer. Gazan journalists report Abu Obaid, also known as "Abu Atiya," was eliminated in an overnight strike. A 2012 photograph shows Abu Obaid in Mecca alongside other senior Hamas commanders who were later eliminated: Ahmed al-Jaabari (killed in 2012's Operation Pillar of Defense), Raed al-Attar (killed in 2014's Operation Protective Edge), and Mohammad Abu Shamala (killed alongside al-Attar).
