Hamas Spokesman Abu Obeida: "We're Ready to Allow Red Cross Aid to Hostages"

In a rare statement, Hamas military spokesman Abu Obeida said the group is willing to cooperate with any Red Cross request to deliver food and medicine to Israeli hostages. He added: “Hostages eat what we eat. We are not starving them intentionally.” He conditioned the aid on opening regular humanitarian corridors and halting all Israeli air force flights during aid deliveries.
