Hamas using deception tactics on casualty reports to mislead IDF
Hamas is attempting to deceive the IDF about assassination outcomes by falsely declaring operatives dead on social networks while they remain alive, according to intelligence analysis. Recent cases include police officer Yaman Obeid, announced killed by the IDF on the 14th but who actually died 11 days later, and terrorist Maam Eid, declared eliminated on social networks but who died of wounds only after the announcement. Hamas recently announced arrests of Israeli collaborators who confirmed assassination results from hospitals. The tactic aims to remove targeted operatives from IDF "wanted for assassination" lists, allowing them to continue activities with reduced intelligence surveillance.
