Hezbollah Deputy Chief Threatens Israel

Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Naim Qassem warned Tuesday that any large-scale Israeli military action in Lebanon would trigger a devastating response from the group. “Israel has no interest in launching a major operation in Lebanon,” Qassem said, “because it knows Hezbollah will defend itself. Rockets will rain down on Israel, and all the security the Israelis have built over the past eight months will collapse within a single hour.”
