IDF and police respond to Israeli civilian violence in West Bank, five arrested

IDF soldiers, Israel Border Police, and Israel Police forces were dispatched Sunday evening following reports of violent assaults, arson, and public disturbances by Israeli civilians in multiple locations across Judea and Samaria. Forces operated to restore order and conducted searches for suspects. Near Deir al-Hatab, a suspected vehicle was inspected and weapons were confiscated. Five Israeli civilians were apprehended and transferred for questioning. In a separate incident in the Yitzhar area, Israeli civilians attacked Israeli security forces attempting to restore order, injuring one Border Police soldier and damaging a security vehicle. Several Palestinian civilians were injured and evacuated for medical treatment. Security forces have been deployed along roads and friction points. The IDF and Israel Police condemned the violence and stated they are operating with zero tolerance toward violent extremists.
