IDF attempts to assassinate Gaza Brigade Commander Azaddin al-Haddad

Israel reportedly launched a massive "fire belt" airstrike on an underground compound in Khan Younis in an attempt to eliminate Az al-Din al-Haddad, Hamas’ Gaza Brigade Commander and top remaining figure in the Strip. He’s believed to have overseen the captivity of many Israeli hostages. Israeli sources have yet to confirm if the strike was successful.
