IDF completes 3-month operation in Syria security zone, dismantles terrorist infrastructure

The IDF's 228th Brigade completed a three-month mission in the security zone in Syria, conducting operations to remove threats to Israel. Soldiers questioned dozens of suspects, apprehended several operatives, dismantled terrorist infrastructure, and located numerous weapons including RPG rockets, mortar shells, and Kalashnikov rifles. The brigade has now completed its fifth reserve deployment and will be replaced by the 2nd Brigade. The 210th Division will continue operating in the area to ensure security for Israeli civilians, particularly residents of the Golan Heights.
