IDF conducts longest humanitarian mission in Home Front Command history in Venezuela

The IDF is conducting its longest humanitarian assistance mission in Home Front Command history, with approximately 32 Israeli experts supporting Venezuelan authorities following earthquake damage in La Guaira near Caracas. The mission, now in its third week, is helping Venezuela transition from emergency response to rehabilitation after hundreds of buildings were destroyed along the coastline. Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yossi Pinto, commander of the emergency mission, stated the team is providing knowledge and experience to help develop national situational assessments and lay groundwork for long-term rehabilitation expected to continue for months or years.
