IDF conducts weekend operations across Judea and Samaria, apprehends 40 suspects

IDF soldiers, Israel Border Police, and ISA conducted counterterrorism operations over the weekend across approximately 40 areas and 400 locations in Judea and Samaria, focusing on Hamas-identified zones. Forces apprehended around 40 suspects, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad operatives, as well as individuals involved in incitement, public disorder, and rock-hurling. In Hebron and Halhul, the Judea Brigade arrested approximately 20 suspects. The Etzion Brigade entered over 70 locations across more than 10 areas, apprehending suspects involved in planting explosives and advancing terrorist activity, including Hamas operatives. Forces dismantled memorials commemorating terrorists in the Samaria and Menashe brigades. In Samaria, two suspects involved in a terror attack against Israeli civilians near Burin were arrested. A hunting rifle used by suspects in Silat al-Dhahr was located.
