IDF Denies Striking Lebanese Soldiers, Claims Hezbollah Device Caused Injuries
The IDF Spokesperson has refuted Lebanese Army claims that an Israeli strike wounded five Lebanese soldiers in Kafr Kafra. According to the IDF, the soldiers' vehicle drove over an explosive device belonging to Hezbollah, not Israel. The IDF stated that following a review, it was confirmed the device did not belong to Israeli forces and that no IDF soldiers were present in the area outside the security zone where the incident occurred. The Lebanese Army had earlier reported the soldiers were lightly wounded while escorting village residents.
