IDF eliminates Hamas naval commander and three terrorists in Gaza strikes
The Israeli military struck Gaza City on Monday, killing Osama Naim Hamdi Shamlakh, a cell commander in Hamas' Naval Array who was working to rebuild the group's maritime capabilities and plan attacks. In a separate strike in northern Gaza, three armed Hamas terrorists were killed as they attempted to advance attacks against IDF troops. The military said the terrorists posed an imminent threat and were eliminated in precise aerial strikes. The IDF stated it took steps to mitigate civilian harm, including use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance. Israeli forces remain deployed in Gaza under the ceasefire agreement.
