IDF eliminates Hamas security chief and four terrorists in northern Gaza

The Israeli military struck northern Gaza on Tuesday, killing Mohammed Marwan Mohammed Salem, Head of Military Security of Hamas' Central Jabaliya Battalion. Four additional Hamas operatives were eliminated alongside him: Abd al-Malek Abu al-Jabin, a Nukhba terrorist and head of investigations in Hamas police; Yaman Mohammed Jibril Ubaid, a Central Jabaliya Battalion terrorist; and Ghassan Akram Salama Dakas, a Western Jabaliya Battalion terrorist and Hamas police operative. The IDF said the terrorists had gathered in recent months to plan attacks and were eliminated to remove the threat. The military stated it took steps to mitigate civilian harm using precision munitions and aerial surveillance.
