IDF Eliminates Senior Hezbollah Unit 1800 Commanders in Beirut Strike

The IDF struck Beirut on Monday, eliminating Hamza Ibrahim Rakin, Deputy Commander of Hezbollah's Unit 1800, along with the unit's Operations Officer and another operative. Unit 1800 coordinates between Hezbollah and Palestinian terrorist organizations operating in Lebanon, Gaza, Syria, and Judea and Samaria. Rakin served as a key liaison and oversaw the transfer of terrorists to fight IDF troops in southern Lebanon. Additional IDF strikes throughout the day targeted Hezbollah command centers in Beirut and southern Lebanon.
