IDF eliminates two Hamas operatives including commander of money transfer network

The IDF struck in the Deir al-Balah area on Thursday, eliminating Jabr Moqbel, a Hamas military wing operative who led the "Moqbel" money exchange network. The network transferred millions of shekels in foreign currency to Hamas to finance terrorists, restore military infrastructure, and advance attacks against IDF troops. In a separate strike in Khan Yunis, the IDF eliminated Hasan al-Batta, a sniper operative in Hamas' military wing. The IDF stated both terrorists recently advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and operated to restore the organization's capabilities in violation of the ceasefire. Precise munitions and aerial surveillance were used to mitigate civilian harm.
