IDF imposes limited activity restrictions in southern Israel regions

The Home Front Command updated defensive guidelines for several southern Israeli regions, transitioning them to limited activity status from March 22-24, 2026. Affected areas include Lachish, Western Lachish, Western Negev, Central Negev, Southern Negev, and the Dead Sea area. Educational activities are prohibited. Gatherings are permitted up to 50 people if a protected space can be reached in time. Workplaces may operate only where standard protected spaces are accessible within required timeframes.
