IDF's 98th Division assumes command of two brigades in Judea and Samaria

The 98th Division Headquarters completed operational preparations and began commanding the Etzion and Judea Brigades in Judea and Samaria on Friday, following a directive from IDF Chief of Staff LTG Eyal Zamir. The Judea and Samaria Division and the 98th Division, including territorial brigades, will operate jointly in defensive and offensive operations to strengthen security efforts and counter terrorism.
