IDF says 16 Hamas financial operatives eliminated, disrupting over $1 billion in fund transfers

The IDF and ISA have eliminated 16 key Hamas financial operatives throughout the war who managed fund transfers totaling over one billion dollars for the terrorist organization's military activities. The operatives ran a network of money changers in Turkey and Gaza that financed Hamas terrorists, weapons capabilities, and infrastructure restoration. Among those eliminated are Ibrahim Abu Shamala, financial officer of Hamas' military wing, and Mohammed Abu Alwan, eliminated last Wednesday, who was responsible for funds of Hamas' political wing. Other eliminated network heads include Khader Jamasi, Ihab Khraizem, and Hussein Qadra. The IDF stated the operations have significantly impacted Hamas' military activities and are focused on preventing restoration of its infrastructure and capabilities.
