IDF Shura Reservists Banned from Weapons

The Chief of Staff of the Chief Rabbinate has ordered that reserve soldiers from the Shura unit be barred from carrying weapons, citing concerns about suicide risk.In recent days, around 200 reservists from Shura were released from duty. Those who asked to transfer to another combat unit were turned down, specifically to keep them from bearing arms.
