IDF Strikes Hezbollah Operatives Disguised as Paramedics in Southern Lebanon
The IDF struck a group of Hezbollah operatives dressed as paramedics operating near an ambulance in southern Lebanon on Saturday. The military claims the targeted operatives systematically used ambulances to transport weapons between northern and southern Lebanon and to conduct attacks against Israeli forces. According to the IDF, dozens of rockets were launched from areas where these operatives worked in the past month alone. The IDF stated that using ambulances and medical teams to conceal terrorist activities violates international law, noting that medical personnel receive special protection only when not engaging in hostile acts outside humanitarian duties.
