IDF strikes Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon after IED injures two soldiers
Two IDF soldiers were lightly injured Saturday when an engineering vehicle drove over a Hezbollah explosive device in the Security Zone in southern Lebanon. Both were evacuated for medical treatment and their families notified. In response, the IDF struck terrorist infrastructure across several areas in southern Lebanon, including observation posts and sites used by Hezbollah operatives to plan and carry out attacks on Israeli forces. IDF troops remain deployed in the Security Zone under the agreement and continue operations to eliminate threats to Israeli civilians and soldiers.
