IDF strikes Iranian missile production and air defense sites in Tehran

The Israeli Air Force conducted wide-scale strikes overnight Saturday targeting Iranian weapons infrastructure in Tehran, the IDF reports. The operation hit a central Defense Ministry site producing critical ballistic missile components—one of only two such facilities in Iran. The strikes also targeted ballistic missile engine production sites, weapons production and storage facilities, UAV engine manufacturing sites, and a facility developing air defense systems. The IDF says the operation aims to degrade Iran's missile production capabilities built over years.
