IDF suspends reserve battalion after Tayasir incident inquiry

The IDF Chief of General Staff received findings from an inquiry into an incident near Tayasir and decided to suspend the operational deployment of a reserve battalion. The battalion will remain in reserve service but undergo a process to reinforce its professional and ethical foundations before resuming operations, subject to approval by the Central Command Commander. Additional command measures will be implemented later. Full inquiry findings and the Chief of General Staff's summary will be released to the public soon.
