Iran Slams U.S. Tariffs on India

The Iranian Embassy in India issued a sharp rebuke of the United States following former President Donald Trump’s announcement of renewed tariffs on Indian imports, accusing Washington of weaponizing the global economy. In a strongly worded statement, the embassy said: “The U.S. continues to weaponize the economy and use sanctions as a tool to impose its will on independent countries like Iran and India. America’s coercive measures represent a modern form of economic imperialism.”
