Iranian agency reports 16 merchant ships destroyed in strike on Lengeh port

Iran's Tasnim news agency reports that 16 Iranian merchant ships were destroyed in what it describes as an American-Israeli strike on the port of Bandar Lengeh in southern Iran. Iranian sources also report strikes occurring at the commercial port at this time. The port of Bandar Lengeh is located on Iran's southern coast along the Persian Gulf.
