Iranian FM Araghchi meets U.S. envoy Witkoff at UN, presents Hormuz conditions

Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi met with U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in a meeting requested by Washington, according to Iranian state television. Tehran agreed to the meeting to convey its conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Iran's demands include immediate lifting of the naval blockade, immediate release of all frozen Iranian funds, and an end to the war on all resistance fronts.
