Iranian President calls for Muslim unity beyond national identities

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that distinctions between Arab, Turkish, or Iranian countries should be set aside in favor of Muslim unity. "We are Muslims. We were created from a man and a woman and made into peoples and tribes," he said, emphasizing that piety matters before God rather than ethnic identity. Pezeshkian called for Muslims to "sit down and follow God's commandments."
