Iraqi militias accidentally strike Iraqi Air Force plane instead of US target

Shiite militia groups in Iraq mistakenly hit an Iraqi Air Force Antonov aircraft while attempting to strike a US base near Baghdad's international airport. Militia channels had initially celebrated the attack, claiming they hit an American refueling plane, before the error became apparent.
