Israel Announces Daily Tactical Pause in Gaza

Israeli officials have briefed ministers that daily “tactical humanitarian pauses” will be implemented from 10:00 to 20:00, effective immediately and until further notice. The government emphasized there is no deliberate starvation policy in Gaza, calling Hamas’s claims “a false campaign.” In addition to the pause, Israel will resume airdropping humanitarian aid, open defined safe corridors for aid convoys, and connect electricity to operate a Gaza desalination facility. Officials say the measures are designed to ensure aid reaches civilians while maintaining operational flexibility.
