Israel Receives Remains Transferred from Gaza

The Israel Prime Minister’s Office announced that remains have been transferred from the Gaza Strip via the Red Cross. IDF and Shin Bet personnel received the remains inside the Strip, where a military ceremony was held with a senior official. Following the ceremony, the remains will be transported to Israel’s National Center for Forensic Medicine at the Ministry of Health. Identification and examination will be carried out before families are officially notified. The National Unit for Missing Persons remains in constant contact with the families of the two fallen hostages. “In this difficult time, our hearts are with them,” the office said. Efforts to recover all hostages continue relentlessly until the last one is returned.
