Israeli Civilians Enter Nablus Outskirts, Clash with Palestinians Before IDF Evacuation
Israeli civilians entered the outskirts of Nablus on Friday, prompting clashes with Palestinians who threw rocks at them. An Israeli civilian fired warning shots into the air, though no injuries were reported. Several Israeli civilians also allegedly vandalized a cemetery in the area. IDF soldiers deployed ahead of the civilians' arrival dispersed the gathering and evacuated all civilians from the area. Palestinians later threw rocks at IDF soldiers, who responded using suspect apprehension protocol, including firing toward a primary instigator. IDF forces remain deployed to prevent further incidents. The IDF emphasized that entry into Area A is prohibited and illegal for Israeli citizens.
