Israeli strike shuts down electrical substation serving Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon

An Israeli strike hit an electrical substation in southern Lebanon, causing a shutdown that cut power to Bint Jbeil and surrounding villages in the area, as well as some villages in the Tyre District. The Lebanese Electric Company confirmed the substation was shut down following the Israeli strike. Lebanese sources reported the IDF targeted the facility that supplies electricity to the entire region.
