Lebanese Army Kills Notorious Drug Dealer Tied to Hezbollah
The Lebanese Armed Forces announced the elimination of wanted drug trafficker “Abo Salah,” a figure long suspected of ties to Hezbollah and Syria’s narco-state economy. While the army’s statement did not detail the circumstances of his death, regional media outlets reported that Abo Salah had also been involved in arms smuggling and played a central role in distributing Captagon—a powerful amphetamine, during the Assad regime’s peak production years.
