Lebanese Army soldier killed by explosive device in southern Lebanon
A Lebanese Army vehicle struck an explosive device in the Al-Mansouri area of southern Lebanon on Saturday, killing one soldier and injuring two others. The IDF stated the device did not belong to Israeli forces and was likely placed by Hezbollah. The incident occurred in the Security Zone where IDF soldiers have not been present recently. The IDF said the Lebanese Army vehicle entered the zone without prior coordination as required by existing mechanisms, and called on Lebanese forces to coordinate movements and avoid areas where Hezbollah poses threats.
