MK Haskel claims New Hope members filmed votes for PM in court affidavit
MK Sharren Haskel alleges in an affidavit to the High Court of Justice that New Hope faction members were required to film themselves voting during a repeat voting round and present the recordings to the Prime Minister. The affidavit was submitted as part of a petition seeking to allow her to split from the National Unity faction. Likud Director-General David Sharan and several Likud MKs have submitted affidavits denying any such demand was made. Amit Segal notes that a false affidavit is a serious offense and suggests a criminal investigation may be warranted to determine the truth.
