Netanyahu defends cryptocurrency proposal after Bank of Israel pushback
Prime Minister Netanyahu responded to the Bank of Israel's rejection of his cryptocurrency proposal, stating that crypto "is one of the options, not the only option, and it's not certain that it will be used." Netanyahu said he hears the objections and takes them into account, adding: "I have received advice from various sources, including the Bank of Israel, and I believe that my track record over time shows that I have led the State of Israel to unprecedented economic prosperity. I introduced a free-market economy here, broke up monopolies, reduced waste in the public sector, and lowered taxes and prices on a scale never seen before."
