Palestinian-American Mediator Bashaara Bahbah Arrives in Qatar for Hostage Deal Talks

Palestinian-American academic and mediator Bashaara Bahbah arrived in Qatar last night to help facilitate negotiations over a potential hostage deal and ceasefire. According to a U.S. official, Bahbah is in direct contact with senior Hamas leaders and reports back to Steve Witkoff, President Trump’s special envoy, who is managing the American channel with Prime Minister Netanyahu and his team.
